Important thing is “What is good music?” For Example, I don’t think SMAP’s songs is good. the reason why their music was known for many people is that “they are SMAP”. If someone whom is not famous plays their songs, It’s impossible they can get million sales.

People may decide like “It’s good music!” or “It’s not good for me”. but It is nothing related to essentials of their music. It’s really connected to “who sing this song”, or what kind of situation “music industry or culture facing to?” People were really affected by that kind of reason.

mF247 is able to take control take “how artists are looked like?” or “what kind of reputation are they likely to get?” or “how the japanese culture is going to treat an artists”.

We will put many effort on that, this service is gonna be fun.

根本的に「何をもって良い音楽か」ということにもよると思うんですよ。例えば僕はSMAPの曲を聴いても良い音楽ってあまり思わない。でもあれって「SMAPだから良い音楽である」という前提で聴いている人っていると思うんですよね。同じ曲を全然無名の人がいきなり歌って同じように100万枚売れることはありえない。
主観的に人が「この曲が良い」と思うことと、客観的な曲の良さとか質にはあまり関係がない。むしろ、誰がやってるとか、どういう文脈で出てきた曲なのかとか、そのときの社会的な状況とか、そういうさまざまな要素に左右されると思うんですね。 曲の質というところでいうと、僕らはそれを完全にコントロールすることはできないけど、アーティストがどのようにユーザーから見えるのか、どう評価されるのか。そういう社会的な文脈の中で曲がどのように扱われるのか。そういう部分に関してはmF247側である程度コントロールできる部分もあると思うんですよ。そこのところのノウハウをためていけば、おもしろいサービスになるかなと思ってます。 by ひろゆき
